On February 13, 2025, the storytelling event Loslippig, at the Kweekcafé in Haarlem, had ‘Op glad ijs’ as theme. It translates as ‘On thin ice’, and it is about taking a risk or trying something new without being sure the outcome will be successful.
Introduced by host Aniek three storytellers shared their story. Paul lost his job and as the breadwinner in his family he had to reinvent/redefine/rediscover work. Philip shared a great winter story from his upcoming book! Thomas went on an adventure to get his stolen bicycle back.
The audience wrote their experience with Op Glad IJs on notes and Aniek shared them. Maaike, the owner of the Kweekcafé, is about to start an ‘on thin ice’-adventure as the kitchen of the café will be extended the coming weeks.
