In the houses of the Hof van Egmond in Haarlem 154 houses are monuments. They needed renovation, but the façade stys. Everything behind the frontdoor is replaced by a new house which has various techniques build in to save energy.
To make sure everybody is kept out during the construction the houses are boarded up. Empty houses and boarded up windows form an excellent testing ground for spray cans. To avoid that the boards have a stencilstyle print with a nice choice of landmarks from Haarlem.
